Our rheumatology care deals with musculoskeletal problems, diagnostics and treatment of degenerative and inflammatory disorders.

You can contact us with the following problems:

  • joint inflammations (gout, psoriatic arthritis)
  • pain in extremities (tenosynovitis, tennis elbow, golf elbow, Achilles-tendinitis)
  • articular cartilage damage (arthrosis)
  • complaints of vertebral origin (neck-, back-, lower back pain, scoliosis, lumbago, spinal disc herniation)

Physical examination consists of status assessment covering all joints, occasionally with X-ray included. Already in this early stage physiotherapy and pharmacotherapy – consist of NSAIDs (Nonsteroidal Antiinflammatory Drugs), painkillers and medicaments with effect on cartilage-repair – may be necessary.

With the help of the physiotherapist you can learn the least strenuous exercises, which still help to protect your joints’ flexibility.

It is worth to have regular visit to a rheumatologist to check-up our musculoskeletal status and by following his/her advice to preserve the health of our joints and muscular system for a long time.
